Indian Army jawans on Sunday (15 September) were recorded defusing a live mortar filed by Pakistan across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Balakote sector in a bid to target schools and civilians.
In the video posted by journalist Aditya Raj Kaul, two army jawans can be seen placing sand sacks above the live mortar and then carrying out a controlled explosion by attaching a fuse. The loud explosion at the end was a testament of the deadly nature of the mortar.
It was reported yesterday how Indian Army had also rescued young school kids from their schools after Pakistan violated ceasefire in the Balakote sector.
In total, Pakistan has violated ceasefire for a whopping 2,050 times which resulted in 21 deaths this year.
