Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his surprise visit to the forward areas in Ladakh amid the ongoing India-China stand-off was greeted with Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Vande Mataram chants by the troops at the Brigade headquarters in Nimmoo.
In the video Prime Minister Modi can be seen greeting the troops with a Namaskar as they raise patriotic slogans around him. This video was recorded after Prime Minister Modi addressed the troops present at the site.
A video of Prime Minister Modi landing in Ladakh in an Indian Air Force helicopter and then assessing the on ground situation was earlier posted by ANI.
In the video Prime Minister Modi can also be seen as being briefed by Lieutenant General Y K Joshi who is the Commander-In-Chief of Indian Army's Norther Command.
