Watch: Indian Crew Members On Board Cruise Ship Hit By Coronavirus Appeal To PM Modi For Being Rescued From Japan

Indian crew members, on board a cruise ship quarantined off Japan over the diagnosis of Novel Coronavirus cases, has reached out to Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi issuing a desperate appeal to be brought back home safely and urgently, reports the Times of India.
Issuing the call for rescue via a video message on Twitter, a crew member named Binay Kumar Sarkar standing alongside a few other crew members said that all the members on board the ship are very scared even as newer cases of Novel Coronavirus are being detected on a daily basis.
In the video message, Sarkar shared that as many as 66 members of the crew have been diagnosed to have been impacted by the virus positively even though there has not been any official confirmation of the number yet.
Sarkar and other crew members have appealed to the United Nations (UN) and PM Modi to intervene and segregate the Indian crew members and rescue them on an urgent basis, highlighting that so far only 500 samples have been tested while there are 3,700 crew members on the ship.
Sarkar said that the Japanese authorities are taking samples for testing only in the cases in which the persons have been found to have a fever of more than 37.5 degrees celsius.
