The son of Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency candidate Balbir Singh Jakhar, Uday Jakhar has made a public allegation that his father paid Rs 6 crore directly to AAP supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and senior party leader Gopal Rai to secure his ticket, reports ANI.
Watch the footage of Uday Jakhar making his claims below:
The AAP candidate’s son asserted that he had credible evidence to back up his claims. He also said that his father was willing to use his money to secure bail for two accused in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, including Congress leader Sajjan Kumar.
Uday Jakhar revealed that his father had refused to pay for his education, and had told him that he would instead use the money to secure political benefits for himself.
