Telangana Chief Minister (CM) K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) rather frustratingly pulled out a ribbon whilst inaugurating a community housing site in Rajanna Sircilla district on Sunday upon failing to find a scissor to cut the same on Sunday.
Reportedly, the CM lost his cool amidst the efforts to find a scissor and hence rather abruptly pulled off the ribbon, which was to signify the opening of the housing community built at the cost of Rs 80 crore at Mandepalli.
The community is built mainly for the poor and hosts about 1320 flats of 560 sq ft. It has been named 'KCR Nagar' and amenities have been made to house around 5000 people in the society.
Telangana's Urban Development Minister, KT Rama Rao, appreciated the government's initiative and tweeted, "Delighted that Hon'ble CM KCR Garu will be inaugurating 1320 2BHK houses built under #DignityHousing program at Mandepalli in Rajanna Siricilla district today. My compliments to @Collector_RSL and team on a great job."
Meanwhile, CM KCR also initiated an international driving school spanning 20 acres in Mandepalli. The institute will hire about 30 expert trainers and coach almost 5,000 unemployed youth, reports Free Press Journal.
