Responding to allegations of government inaction in tackling issues faced by athletes in Delhi, AAP leader and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was again seen ‘upper’ authorities for the problems faced by the athletes.
The response from Kejriwal came after a backlash he faced from the athletes, and the video went viral.
He replied saying that there are a lot of disadvantages with the existing framework, and that the government is doing whatever it takes to get new policies in place.
However, he went on to blame the central authorities for stopping him from passing legislation and frame better policies, and has been ‘obstructed’ multiple times.

He then announced two new state policies for sports, namely ‘Mission Excellence’, which rewards winners of national and international sports competition with cash and other facilities, and ‘Play and Progress’, targeting the raw talents in schools and colleges, identifying and nurturing them.
