‘Won’t Give Pain To Any Third Country On Bilateral Issues’: PM Modi Says On Kashmir Issue During Meeting With Trump

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and United States President Donald Trump met on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in Biarritz, France on Monday (26 August).

During their meet, both the leaders discussed wide range of matters, including the Kashmir issue.

“I had a talk with PM Modi on Kashmir, things are under control and I am hopeful India and Pakistan will be able to do something good very soon,” said Trump, as reported by Hindustan Times.

Trump said that he was hopeful that India and Pakistan would sort out all their differences soon.

Prime Minister said that all issues between India and Pakistan are bilateral and no third country mediation is required on them.

“All issues between India-Pak bilateral; don’t want to give pain to any third country,” PM Modi said on the Kashmir issue.
