PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday (8 November) flagged Congress' divisive caste politics, warning the nation of its potential dangers.
He accused Congress of fostering caste divisions for political gains.
Referring to Rahul Gandhi’s stance regarding the caste census, PM Modi said that the Congress is working on a “sole agenda" of disrupting the unity of the SC, and ST communities.
“A dangerous game of pitting one caste against another is being played by the Congress. This game is being played because Congress can never see the Dalits, backward classes, and tribals progressing. This is the history of Congress," he said at a rally in Maharashtra’s Dhule.
Modi urged people to remain united, emphasising that their safety is assured in unity.
His remark was similar to the one by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath who had said, “Ek Rahenge Toh Nek Rahenge“ (If we stay united, we stay good).
“Congress’ agenda is to create a rift between all the tribal communities of the country… When Congress tried this conspiracy with religious groups, it led to the partition of the country. Now Congress is inciting SC, ST, and OBC categories against each other. There can be no bigger conspiracy for India… You will stay strong as long as you stay united… ‘Ek hain toh safe hain‘ (If you are united, you are safe)," PM Modi said.
