Operation Sindoor: Top LeT And JeM Terrorists Killed In Indian Strikes On Pakistan And PoJK Camps, Says Report
The aftermath of Indian strikes on JeM terror hub
The Indian Armed Forces conducted precision strikes on 7 May, targeting nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu-Kashmir (PoJK) as part of Operation Sindoor.
The strikes resulted in the elimination of several high-profile terrorists affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), including Maulana Yusuf Azhar, who was wanted for the IC-814 hijacking, news agency ANI reported citing sources.
Other key terrorists killed included:
Mudassar Khadian Khas (LeT), in charge of Markaz Taiba in Muridke, received a guard of honour at his funeral from the Pakistan Army.
Khalid (alias Abu Akasha, LeT), involved in multiple attacks in Jammu and Kashmir and weapons smuggling from Afghanistan. His funeral was attended by senior Pakistani officials.
Mohammad Hassan Khan (JeM), operational commander in PoJK, coordinated attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.
The operation destroyed five terror camps in PoJK and four in Pakistan.
The strikes targeted individuals involved in radical indoctrination, weapons training, and the coordination of terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.
Sources cited in the ANI report revealed that the funerals of some of these terrorists were attended by senior Pakistani military and government officials, exposing Pakistan’s complicity in sheltering terror operatives.
