Tejaswi Surya, the BJP candidate for Lok Sabha polls from Bengaluru South, has slammed the Congress party's campaign tactics in Karnataka, accusing them of engaging in what he dubbed as a "Campaign of Deceit and Lies."

In a recent statement, Surya highlighted the Congress party's alleged attempt to defraud voters, particularly those from economically weaker sections, with the promise of a Rs 1 Lakh Bond to be transferred post-elections.

According to Surya, Congress has been issuing acknowledgements resembling official enrolment forms, collecting Aadhar and Election ID details, despite the Election Commission of India (ECI) denying permission to print such forms.

He condemned this blatant disregard for authority, labelling the campaign as fraudulent and orchestrated by a team of individuals he referred to as "fraudsters."

Expressing concern over the integrity of the electoral process, Surya revealed that a formal complaint has been lodged with the Election Commission of India (ECI) regarding these fraudulent practices.

"People of Bengaluru are carefully observing all this and will give befitting reply come 4 June," he said.
