Here's What Nitin Gadkari Said On Hydrogen Fuel At A Public Event

Indian cars will soon run on green hydrogen, said Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari at a session titled 'Satta Ka Highway' during a two-day (1-2 December) Chaupal event in the capital.
True to its name, the culturally rich platform with rural ambience is aimed at creating a direct connection with viewers by giving them a chance to listen to the country's most impactful voices on the issues that concern the country.
"Indian cars will run on green hydrogen in coming times as it is the cheapest fuel. The prices of electric cars will become cheaper in the near future. Today, considering the menace of stubble burning, we will give priority to bio-CNG. We need to empower the farmers and workers in the country," Gadkari said.
Chaupal hosted impactful debates on the upcoming elections, role of Opposition, the roadmap to 2024 elections and other raging issues.
The Day 1 witnessed dignitaries speaking on sessions titled, 'Kaisa Hai Naya Bharat' with Union Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav, 'Satta ka Highway' with Gadkari, 'Congress ka Kaya Kalp Kab?' with Congress leader Randeep Surjewala, 'Cinema ka Shehzada' with Bollywood actor Kartik Aryan and 'Kiska Hoga Uttar Pradesh' with Sanjay Singh (AAP), Gaurav Vallabh (Congress), Sambit Patra (BJP) and Anurag Bhadouria (SP).
The summit brought together India's top politicians, thought leaders, policy makers, sports and film stars to discuss, debate and deliberate on the contemporary issues that India faces.
The agenda of this year's edition was set around themes such as 75 years of Independence, 50 years of Indo-Pak 1971 War (Bangladesh), upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Punjab among others, key socio-political and economic issues, and the way forward.
