Sukesh Chandrashekhar has warned Kejriwal and Jain of serious consequences.

In an unprecendented turn of events, 'conman' Sukesh Chandrashekhar, currently in Mandoli jail in Delhi, has claimed to be a benefector of Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Avind Kejriwal.

Allegations by Chandrashekhar

Chandrashekhar has written a series of letter to the Delhi LG as well as media, suggesting his long-term association and financial relationship with the AAP.

Chandrashekhar has alleged that he paid money to Delhi Minister Satyender Jain and other AAP leaders for protection in jail and a Rajya Sabha ticket from the party.

As per Chandrshekhar, he met Kejriwal and was asked to arrange Rs 500 crore for the party's expansion into the southern states.

In his latest letter, addressed to the media, written on 8 November 2022, he writes, "Kejriwal Ji, if any of my raised issues to Delhi LG turn out to be wrong as you and your associates said, I am ready to be hanged. But if the complaint is proven true, you will resign and retire from politics for good."

He also alleged that Jain asked him to pay money to the party for the Goa and Punjab elections.

Opposition Demands Lie Detector Test

The BJP on Tuesday staged a protest outside the AAP office in Delhi and demanded a lie detector test for Delhi CM Kejriwal.

BJP MP and the party's former Delhi unit chief Manoj Tiwari has demanded a televised lie detector test for Kejriwal, Jain and Chandrashekhar. Jain is in jail in connection with a money laundering case registered by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

Congress, too, has been up in arms against the AAP demanding the same.

Chandrashekhar's Cryptic Message

In the latest letter, Chandrashekhar has sent out a cryptic message to Kejriwal and Jain warning them of serious consequences.

He wrote, "stop provoking me and making it dirty as it would force me to reveal a few other things which are very personal, which you or Mr. Jain would not be happy in any form, details which will shock the country."

The AAP has dismissed the charges as an attempt by the BJP to use Chandrashekhar as its 'star campaigner', fearing defeat in the Gujarat (Assembly) and the Municipal Corporation of Delhi elections.
