Here Are The Seats DMK Finalised For Its Left Allies In Tamil Nadu Ahead Of Lok Sabha Polls

The ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in Tamil Nadu has finalized its constituency allocation with the two Left parties in its alliance for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
Under the allocation, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) secured Madurai, a seat it currently holds, along with Dindigul.
Meanwhile, the Communist Party of India will contest in Nagapattinam and Tiruppur, both seats it presently represents.
Madurai is currently represented by CPI(M)'s Su. Venkatesan.
Also, in the previous general elections, DMK candidate P. Velusamy had emerged victorious in Dindigul.
Speaking on the development, CPI(M) state secretary K. Balakrishnan expressed optimism about contesting in Dindigul, highlighting the significant margin of victory secured by the DMK candidate in the previous elections.

He emphasized the favorable conditions for their candidate to clinch victory this time.
Earlier, the DMK had allotted Ramanthapuram to the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) and Namakkal to the Kongunadu Makkal Desiya Katchi (KMDK).
Furthermore, the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) secured Chidambaram and Villupuram, reserved constituencies that it currently represents.
However, the DMK is yet to finalize constituency arrangements with the Congress for nine seats in Tamil Nadu, while the lone seat in Puducherry has been allotted to the Congress.
Additionally, a constituency for the one seat allocated to the Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) remains unidentified.
