Even as most of the country goes in for a lockdown, many sources have begun offering access to digital libraries and e-books.

While #books has been trending on Twitter today with most people sharing their reading lists and nominating Twitterati to read and share while staying indoors, many self published authors, audio book outlets offered access to their digital libraries.

Karnataka, which has announced a complete lockdown, also offered access to its e-library. One can visit https://www.karnatakadigitalpubliclibrary.org/ , register and access books, journals, academic content, material for competitive exams and more. The same is also available though the e sarvajanika granthalaya app.

Amar Chitra Katha (ACK), the book house that has been ‘edutaining’ entire generations of Indians for the past few decades now, also announced that they will give free access for 30-days to all their Comic Archives. It provided a link to both its ACK app as well as Tinkle.

People have also been sharing links to graphic novels, comics, with entire collections available through google drive links. Like this one here offers the entire set of Asterix, TinTin, Calvin and Hobbes online.

Juggernaut also announced on the day of #JanataCurfew that it would go free and make its titles available for people locked down due to Corona curfew. With its #ReadInstead campaign, it is offering its titles free of cost to help beat boredom and the perils of being in enclosed spaces.
