Basavaraj Bommai, former Chief Minister of Karnataka
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday (13 March) released its second list of candidates with 72 names from 10 states for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Three former Chief Ministers feature in this list. Manohar Lal Khattar will contest from Haryana's Karnal, Trivendra Singh Rawat from Uttarakhand's Haridwar and Basavaraj Bommai from Karnataka's Haveri.
Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Anurag Thakur will contest from their seats in Nagpur and Hamirpur respectively. Another Union Minister Piyush Goyal will contest from Mumbai North.
