PM Modi in Bihar
In a recent development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government in West Bengal over the recent school jobs scam, asserting that approximately 26,000 youths in the state lost their livelihoods due to the party's corruption.
Speaking at a public meeting in Malda town in support of BJP Lok Sabha candidates Khagen Murmu and Sreerupa Mitra Chaudhary, PM Modi highlighted the impact of the recruitment scandal, stating, "TMC played with the lives of the youths in Bengal."
PM Modi referenced the recent Calcutta High Court decision to annul the appointments of 25,753 teachers and non-teaching staff recruited through the State Level Selection Test-2016 (SLST) in West Bengal government-sponsored and aided schools.
In his address, PM Modi also targeted the TMC government over various other scandals, alleging widespread corruption.
PM Modi further criticized the TMC's stance on national issues, asserting that the party prioritizes appeasement politics over the welfare of citizens.
Additionally, apart from West bengal, PM Modi also assured stronger Commitment to Bihar at massive rally in Araria.
Addressing the gathering at Bihar rally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from the people of Araria and Supaul, calling it a source of immense energy and strength for him.
"I assure you that I will work harder to repay this debt of yours," PM Modi said, promising to make bigger decisions in the interest of the nation and its people during his third term.
Reflecting on Bihar's historical prosperity and its potential to contribute to India's rise as a global economic powerhouse, PM Modi underscored the state's pivotal role in India's journey towards progress.
"Today, when India is moving towards becoming the third largest economic superpower of the world, Bihar also has a big role in it.," he said.
PM Modi also contrasted the BJP-NDA's commitment to empowering the people with the alleged agenda of the INDI alliance to exploit and oppress them for personal gain.
