The Mumbai Police has filed a case against 32 individuals, including Gaurav Burman, the Director of Dabur, and Mohit Burman, the company's chairman. The case is related to the Mahadev betting app and involves allegations of fraud and gambling. Various sections of the law have been invoked in the case.

According to the First Information Report (FIR), Mohit Burman is accused number 16 and Gaurav Burman is accused number 18 in the Mahadev betting app case. The FIR includes the names of 31 individuals, with an additional unknown person listed as number 32. Social activist Prakash Bankar filed the complaint, leading to the registration of the FIR on 7 November.

Sahil Khan, an actor, has been named as accused number 26 in the FIR. He is alleged to have operated a separate betting app that is connected to Mahadev's online betting app, according to The Hindu.

Sahil Khan is facing accusations of not only promoting but also profiting from operating the Khiladi betting app, according to the FIR. His troubles have escalated after being featured in a video of a party for the online betting app in Dubai, initially believed to be a promotional video. With his name now linked to the FIR as an app operator, Sahil Khan's legal situation has become more complicated.

Social worker Bankar has alleged that individuals have been defrauded of Rs 15,000 crore. The police have filed a case against them under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, and 120 (B) of the IPC.

The Mahadev Book Online Betting App syndicate is currently being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). It is alleged that the promoters of the betting syndicate are residing abroad and are operating thousands of panels throughout India with the assistance of their friends and associates.

The ED has made significant progress in its investigation, having arrested four individuals and confiscated over Rs 450 crore in proceeds of crime. Additionally, the ED has filed a prosecution complaint against 14 suspects.

On 2 November, the ED received information suggesting that the promoters of Mahadev App were transporting a large sum of cash to Chhattisgarh in relation to the Assembly Elections taking place on 7 and 17 November.

During the investigation, the ED carried out searches at Hotel Triton and another location in Bhilai. They were able to intercept a cash courier named Asim Das, who was allegedly sent from the UAE with the purpose of delivering a large amount of cash for election expenses of the ruling Congress party.

The ED has made several startling allegations based on their investigation. They have questioned Asim Das, conducted a forensic examination of his phone, and examined an email sent by one of the high-ranking accused of the Mahadev network.

According to their findings, it is alleged that regular payments have been made in the past, with a total of approximately Rs 508 Crore being paid by Mahadev App Promoters to Bhupesh Baghel, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh.
