Maharashtra: Quota Activist Manoj Jarange Urges Fadnavis To Restrain Voices Against Marathas, Demands Reservation By 24 December

Quota activist Manoj Jarange has called upon Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to intervene and control individuals close to him who, according to Jarange, are speaking against the Maratha community.
Addressing reporters in Latur on Sunday (10 December) night, Jarange expressed his last request, urging leaders in Maharashtra to prevent any discontent among the people.
Without naming specific individuals, Jarange asserted, "There are five-seven people who speak about Maratha (community) and are close to Devendra Fadnavis. Fadnavis needs to understand that there should be peace in the state", reported Business Standard.
Expressing faith in Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's commitment, Jarange emphasised his demand for reservation for the Maratha community by 24 December.
The 'activist' is currently on a tour across Maharashtra to raise awareness about the Marathas' reservation cause.
Asserting that the Maratha community has respected Fadnavis' words in the past, Jarange conveyed a sense of disappointment, stating, "We now understand that you talk sweetly but don't do our work. We have faith that Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will give us a reservation. If they (government) don't give it, we will fight against them also after 24 December."
