The Ministry of Education has announced that the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has developed ten special modules focused on Chandrayaan-3, providing an extensive overview of the mission's scientific, technological, cultural, and social aspects.

The Ministry emphasized that these modules strictly adhere to science and factual information, avoiding any mixing of science with mythology.

The modules cover a wide range of themes, including women's empowerment, COVID management, sustainability, the significance of India as the mother of democracy, the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, and the achievements of Chandrayaan-3.

They are designed to enhance pedagogy and provide an engaging and interactive learning experience for students from grades 1 to 12.

As reported by NDTV, NCERT has taken great care in crafting these modules, recognizing the emotional journey and team spirit of the scientists involved in the Chandrayaan-3 project.

The materials incorporate graphics, photographs, illustrations, activities, and thought-provoking questions to inspire students and facilitate experiential learning in classrooms.

The modules also acknowledge the significant role of ISRO scientists in the Chandrayaan-3 mission, crediting scientists like Dr Vikram Sarabhai, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Dr S Somnath, Dr K Sivan, Nandini Harinath, and others for their contributions.

Furthermore, the initiative aims to highlight Prime Minister Modi's support and motivation for India's space advancements, inspiring students and cultivating their interest in science and technology.

By integrating culture and history into education, the initiative aims to promote a deeper understanding of India's cultural legacy, foster creativity and problem-solving skills, and celebrate the nation's unique connection with space.

The modules are available on the NCERT website and were launched by the Education Minister in the presence of the Chairman of ISRO.
