'Plan Ayodhya Visit In March': PM Modi To Cabinet Colleagues Amid Huge Rush Of Devotees At Ram Mandir

In a bid to avoid inconvenience to public, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reportedly advised his Cabinet colleagues to refrain from visiting Ayodhya for now.
During the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday (24 January), PM Modi suggested that due to the heavy rush and to prevent inconvenience to the public caused by VIPs with protocols, Union Ministers should plan their visits to Ayodhya in March.

"In today's Cabinet meeting, PM Narendra Modi advised all his cabinet colleagues to refrain from visiting the Ayodhya Ram Temple for now. The PM suggested that, due to the heavy rush and to prevent inconvenience to the public caused by VIPs with protocols, Union Ministers should plan their visits to Ayodhya in March," government sources were quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
This comes as Ayodhya is witnessing a massive rush of devotees after the Ram Mandir opened for public yesterday (23 January), a day after 'pran pratishtha' of Lord Ram in the temple.
Around five lakh devotees reportedly visited the temple on Tuesday.
People continued queuing up at the temple on the second day on 24 January.
The Ram temple in Ayodhya will welcome visitors during two time slots daily: from 7 am to 11.30 am and then from 2 pm to 7 pm.
