UP Student Dies By Suicide In Kota, Pushes Number Of Such Deaths This Year To 17

A student preparing for medical entrance exams in Kota, Rajasthan, tragically died by suicide today, adding to the growing number of suicides in the education hub this year.
This brings the total to 17 suicides so far.
The student, Manjot Chhabra, was from Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. He had come to Kota earlier this year and joined a coaching centre to prepare for the NEET exam.
Sadly, this morning he was discovered dead at his hostel.
Once again, this incident highlights the alarming trend of student suicides in Kota.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of students from all over the country come to this prominent education hub to prepare for competitive exams for entry into top engineering and medical colleges.
Kota has been in the news in recent years due to the tragic cases of student suicides caused by stress and disappointment over failure.
