‘Why So Much Hatred Against Hindus?’: BJP Labels Karnataka CM As 'Anti-Hindu', Shares Video Of Temple Entry Refusal Amid Shrikanth Poojari Arrest Controversy

In the midst of a heated political controversy surrounding the arrest of Srikanth Poojari, allegedly connected to the post-Babri Masjid demolition violence in 1992, the BJP has intensified the debate by sharing a video of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah refusing to enter a temple.
Branding him as "anti-Ram," the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) claims to unveil Siddaramaiah's true stance.
The political strife in Congress-ruled Karnataka is escalating ahead of the Ram Temple inauguration on 22 January, with Srikanth Poojari's arrest in old cases becoming a focal point.
In addressing the controversy, BJP leader C T Ravi asserted, "Why so much hatred against Hindus?"
"Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah refuses to enter a temple despite his minister and priest requesting to come inside and seek the darshan of the deity. The same Siddaramaiah had no issues bowing down religiously in a Dargah," he said.
While Siddaramaiah asserts that there is no political motive behind the arrest and labels it a mere coincidence, the BJP contends otherwise, asserting that this incident exposes the Chief Minister's real attitude.
Addressing the issue, Siddaramaiah defended the arrest by stating that Srikanth Poojari has been involved in 16 anti-social activities, including illegal liquor sales and gambling.
He emphasised the necessity of such arrests to maintain law and order, stating, "If such individuals are not arrested and are allowed to roam freely, even Lord Rama cannot forgive this."
