Tamil Nadu: Annamalai To Appear Before Chennai's Saidapet Court In Connection With Defamation Case Filed By TR Baalu

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president K Annamalai will appear in person at the Saidapet Court in Chennai on 14 July in connection with the defamation case filed against him by senior Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leader TR Baalu.

Prior to filing the case, Baalu had sent a notice to Annamalai seeking damages of Rs 100 crore for defamatory allegations made during the release of the DMK Files.

The court had issued the summons to Annamalai on 15 June.
