EPS vs OPS: ECI Uploads AIADMK List Of Officebearers Showing EPS As General Secretary; OPS Demands Swift Investigation In Kodanad Case

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has uploaded the list of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) office-bearers on its website based on documents submitted by Edappadi Palaniswami (EPS).
While EPS is shown as the general secretary, Tamil Magan Hussain is the presidium chairman and Dindigul C Srinivasan is the Treasurer.
In other related developments, O Panneerselvam (OPS) announced that his faction would hold protests across the state on 1 August demanding a swift investigation into the Kodanad estate case.
He added that he has not been invited by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to the meeting of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to be held on 18 July.
EPS has received the invitation to attend the meeting.
A Division Bench of the Madras High Court recently reserved its orders in a case filed by OPS and leaders of his faction challenging their expulsion from the party and the resolutions adopted during the July 2022 general council meeting.
