In a conference held in Deoband, the national president of the prominent Muslim organisation Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, Maulana Syed Arshad Madani, made sharp statements on various issues, including the Israel-Palestine conflict and the increasing communalism.
Alongside this, Maulana Madani alleged the targeting of Muslim girls under conspiracy and called on the Muslim community to open separate schools and colleges for girls in a one-day conference held at Madani Memorial Public School on Monday (13 November).
More than 2,000 officials of Jamiat from 17 districts of Western Uttar Pradesh participated in it. Maulana Arshad Madani stated that communalism has increased due to the Israel-Palestine conflict, Amar Ujala reported.
According to him, the people of Palestine are fighting for their freedom, while Israel wants to enslave them. He said that the freedom of any country is achieved not by drinking milk but by making sacrifices.
Maulana Madani alleged, "Innocent lives are being taken in Israel's barbaric actions. Innocent children are being killed, but the truth cannot be turned away, and the truth is that Palestine will get free."
Maulana Arshad Madani said that those who chant slogans of communalism should think that it will not make the country prosperous but will ruin it and asked everyone to work to stop the country from going down this path.
Maulana Madani said that a conspiracy is underway in the country to convert Muslim girls. Pointing out that while intercaste marriages are not allowed in Hinduism, he asked why are Muslim girls being targeted and suggested establishing separate schools and colleges for Muslim girls.
Officials of Jamiat from 17 districts, including Ghaziabad, Shamli, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Hapur, Aligarh, Muradabad, and Baghpat, participated in the conference held in Deoband. All emphasised enhancing mutual harmony, conducting voter awareness campaigns, and actively considering issues such as adding names to voter lists.
The meeting was chaired by the regional president Maulana Ashhad Rashidi, and the proceedings were conducted by Maulana Mufti Khadimul Islam. Notable personalities like Maulana Habibullah Madani, Maulana Azhar Madani, Maulana Mufti Khadimul Islam, Hafiz Abdul Qudoos Hadi, and Asif Quraishi were present.
