Khalistan Supporter Amritpal Singh Escapes Police Chase Yet Again; Punjab Police Deploys Drones For Tracking, Alert Himachal

Khalistan supporter Amritpal Singh, the leader of 'Waris Punjab De', reportedly fled from a police chase on the Phagwara-Hoshiarpur road in a Swift car after being on the run for over 10 days.
Police are searching for white Swift car with the number '8168' and are using drones for tracking. Alert sounded in Himachal Pradesh border areas as well.
Recently, Amritpal shared his first video since Punjab police launched a crackdown on him and his organisation on 18 March.
In the video, he urged all Sikh organisations across the world to attend a Sarbat Khalsa discussion on Baisakhi regarding community issues. He mentioned about his associates who were sent to Assam after being detained and requested the Akal Takht Jathedar to lead the event.
He expressed in the video that he was well and in high spirits (Chardi Kala) thanks to the blessings of Waheguru, as he escaped police custody. He had also criticised the Punjab Police's detention of 'Sikh youths' during their crackdown on him.
The Punjab government has reportedly released 348 out of the 360 detainees.
