No Confidence Vote: PM Modi Doesn't Consider Manipur Part Of India, Says Rahul Gandhi

Protests erupted in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday morning, following the calm start of the session.
The arrest of Tushar Gandhi was questioned by Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge, leading to chaos in the House.
As a result, the Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 2 p.m.
In the Lok Sabha, Question Hour was disrupted due to Opposition protests over Manipur and was briefly adjourned till 12.
Rahul Gandhi later addressed the Lok Sabha when the House reconvened at noon.
Yesterday, with the Delhi Services Bill resolved and only three sittings remaining before the end of the Monsoon Session, the Opposition and Treasury benches clashed over various issues in both Houses.
The Lok Sabha began its debate on the no-confidence motion against the government presented by the I.N.D.I.A. Opposition bloc.
Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi opened the debate, which resulted in heated exchanges between the Opposition and the treasury benches regarding Manipur and other governance and economic issues.
Although the government holds the majority, the Opposition is expected to use this opportunity to showcase their unity in preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections next year.
The Rajya Sabha witnessed a dramatic turn of events regarding the motion to suspend TMC MP Derek O'Brien for unruly behavior.
Initially, the Chairman announced that the MP had to leave the House, but later clarified that the motion to suspend him was not put to vote, allowing him to continue attending proceedings.
The Rajya Sabha passed four Bills while the Opposition was absent due to their walkout over the Manipur violence issue.
Throughout the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament, the Rajya Sabha has managed to pass around a dozen Bills without any input from the Opposition.
The Opposition has consistently raised the Manipur crisis and staged walkouts, except during the debate on the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, which was successfully passed on Monday.
