A temple, mosque, and church were inaugurated on Friday (25 August) in the new secretariat complex of Telangana.

Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao attended special prayers held in the three places of worship.

Several ministers and officials were also present during the inauguration.

All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president and Hyderabad Lok Sabha member Asaduddin Owaisi, along with his younger brother and AIMIM floor leader in the assembly Akbaruddin Owaisi, attended the inauguration of the mosque.

During his speech at the mosque, the chief minister expressed the government's commitment to maintaining brotherhood in Telangana, as per a report by a news wire agency.

According to him, the Telangana secretariat stands as a remarkable symbol of unity and fraternity for the entire nation, as it houses a temple, church, and mosque within its premises.

On 30 April, the Chief Minister officially inaugurated the new secretariat building.
