On voting day, an episode on a key election rule in India.
A section in the People's Representation Act 1951 says that in an election no candidate can ask votes on the basis of caste and religion among other factors.
Though this rule has stayed on, Swarajya senior editor Arush Tandon believes that this rule is not in the long-term interest of our democracy.
Watch the video to know his reasons.
And keep sending us your questions. They just might get picked and answered by our senior editor on a future episode.
