Echoes of Bharat from the Western Ghats

Western Ghats Lit Fest last year put Coimbatore on the Literature map of India; the second edition is back this year on 28th & 29th of October.

The theme of the second edition is “Bharat Fast Forward” featuring 11 book launches, insightful panel discussions, author talks, Bharatanatyam & Yoga performances, prayer and chanting by children.

The Verandah Club has successfully completed 3 years and has managed to stay beyond a mere organizing platform, it has ensured it nurtures talent, has done over 100 events including book launches, Author talks, both online as well as offline.

The Verandah Club's flagship event Western Ghats Lit Fest has in a very short period evolved into a significant event on the Literary – Cultural horizon of Bharat with great Dharmic flavour. The Verandah Club is also a official G20 Y20 outreach partner and this is a Y20 event, perhaps the only non-institutional Y20 event in this region.
