Dear Reader,
At the peak of the first wave of the Coronavirus pandemic, Swarajya kickstarted a new project. We were looking to raise a monthly commitment of $30,000 on the Patreon platform from our readers and patrons.
Our intention? We want to grow into a self sustaining, influential media company that is wholly dependent and answerable to its readers. We believe there's never been a better time for India to build a media company rooted in India's heritage, one that bats for India and against forces inimical to the well being and prosperity of the Indic people.
Plus, we were clear that the project is not an attempt to make ends meet but to pursue a strategy of aggressive growth and expansion. Just as old media is shrinking due to flawed business models and a lack of engaged readership, we want to commit to further engaging readers and making them part of our business model.
After about a year, we've reached one-fourth of our goal, and there's still a long way to go.
But with you, our readers, pitching in as little as $4.99, we get a lot closer to our aim.
As we affirm our renewed commitment, we request you to join us in our endeavour. You can do so via this link.
- All of us at Swarajya

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
