Munaf Halari Moosa who has been accused in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts was arrested from the Mumbai International Airport on Monday (10 February) by the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), reports India Today.
Since 2019, Moosa was on the radar of Gujarat ATS for his connection to Rs 1500-crore drug smuggling racket. Last year drugs worth Rs 900 crore entered via Gujarat coast in which Moosa was allegedly involved.

"The Gujarat ATS is probing his role in the drugs case," the official added.
Moosa was arrested in Mumbai airport upon his arrival from abroad and he was reportedly found to be travelling on a Pakistani passport.
He fled the the country and was hiding in South Africa after the ghastly 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts in which 260 people were killed and more than 700 were injured.
