Shova Mazumdar the elderly 85-year-old mother of BJP leader Gopal Majumdar today (28 February) narrated the horrifying attack on her which was allegedly perpetrated by TMC workers.

Shova claimed that a group of TMC workers barged into their house at around 4.30 AM in the morning. She claims that they pushed her to the ground and also hit her, including on the face. The attackers also threatened her to keep her mouth shut and warned her against identifying them to the cops.
Shova says that she is now scared and her entire body is suffering as a result of the attack.
As per reports the attack happened in Ward 7 of North Dum Dum area on Friday (2 February).
The BJP leader Gopal has alleged that the thugs broke their house door with sticks and yelled at him for being with the BJP. The then allegedly started beating him up and also hit him at the back of his head with a revolver.
The picture of brutal wounds suffered by Shova on her face was widely shared by shocked social media users.
The TMC dispensation meanwhile has denied its involvement in the attack and called it a family dispute.
