Senior Advocate Rajeev Dhavan who is representing the Muslim parties in the Ram Mandir-Babri Masjid hearing in Lok Sabha, today (16 October) went on a rampage during the last day of the hearing and tore up documents and maps inside the apex court.
As reported by Live Law, the All India Hindu Mahasabha presented various maps and documents before the court to argue for the construction of Ram Mandir.
This enraged Dhavan who then proceeded to tear them up while arguing against their admission. A shocked Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi then rhetorically challenged him to continue this act but Dhavan showed no signs of stopping.
This led the CJI to exclaim in anger, “ We could just get up and walk out”. CJI Gogoi added that such loud objections are against the decorum of the court.
The map torn up by adv Rajeev Dhavan in the #SupremeCourt today. The map is from the book 'Ayodhya Revisited'. The map shows contentious spot as birth place of Lord #Ram.

One of the documents torn by Dhavan is said to be a book titled Ayodhya Revisited by Kunal Kishore. This book is said to claim the exact location of Lord Ram’s birthplace.
