While the AAP is sailing towards a comfortable victory in Delhi, its senior leaders like Manish Sisodia are not faring too well after trailing behind their BJP opponents.
Now AAP leader Atishi Marlena too has started trailing from the Kalkaji constituency, where she is pitted against BJP’s Dharambir Singh. Marlena is currently trailing by a slender margin of 25 votes after having led briefly since counting began.
It may be recalled that Marlena who has taken credit for Delhi government’s so called school and education reforms, had lost badly during the Lok Sabha polls where she was contesting against BJP’s Gautam Gambhir.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
