A Bihar police personnel on Monday (4 May) was arrested in Deep Nagar area of Nalanda district for allegedly threatening to kill Uttar Pradesh (UP) Chief Minister (CM) Yogi Adityanath in a social media post, Navbharat Times reported.
Bihar cop Tanveer Khan, who was posted near Rajgir forest house in Nalanda district, had in a Facebook post on 24 April threatened to shoot the UP CM. After the post surfaced, a complaint was filed in UP’s Dildar Nagar police station.
It is worth mentioning here that Khan originally hails from Raksada village in Ghazipur district’s Dildar Nagar.
The post was not taken seriously until it was found out that the post was shared by a policeman from Bihar. A police team from Dildar Nagar reached Nalanda with the FIR copy and arrested Khan. The accused was taken to UP for further investigation.
