Displaying unwavering momentum towards getting its finances in shape, the state-owned telecom giant Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has taken up monetisation of 14 properties owned by it worth Rs 20,160 crore, reports Financial Express.
The BSNL has sent the details of the properties to the Government of India's Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) as part of the telecom behemoth's ambitious asset monetisation plan.
The Ministry of Skill Development has evinced interest in one of the 14 properties worth estimated at Rs 2,000 crore located in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad which is a part of the National Capital Region (NCR).
Apart from the aforementioned property located in Ghaziabad, the other properties of the BSNL are located across different cities including Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram, and Chennai among others.
