Business Reformer Of The Year: Shot In The Arm For KCR As Telangana Goes For Early Polls

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao been chosen as the Business Reformer of The Year award by Economic Times(ET).

Rao popularly known as KCR thanking ET for the recognition. The state had been consistently achieving record revenue growth rate during the previous four years at an average growth rate of 17.17 per cent per year, he said. He further said that during the first five months of this financial year the state had achieved 21.96 per cent growth rate.

In his communication with ET, KCR also informed that Single widow Telangana State iPass Industrial Policy had brought more than 7,000 industries to the state providing large scale employment and huge investments. The licences for these industries were given in a corruption-free and hassle-free atmosphere.

Telangana also features at the the second spot in ‘ease of doing business’ rankings among states, marginally below the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh.

The award comes as a shot in the arm for the KCR government as the state prepares for early polls. KCR in a communication to the Telangana Governor informed his government’s decision to dissolve the state assembly meaning that polls will be held in the state before year end.
