As part of phase-2 of Chennai Metro, Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has floated tenders to procure 70 driverless train sets of three cars each.
As per the tender notice, the duration of the contract is 1850 days + 730 days (DNP). While the date of the pre-bid meeting is 9 September, the technical bid will open on 23 November.
