China, Japan Offer Condolences On Demise Of Former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj

Upon the demise of former External Affairs Minister and senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Sushma Swaraj, Japanese and Chinese Ambassadors to India paid their respects and condolences, reports Asian News International (ANI).
Japanese Ambassador to India, Kenji Hiramatsu said, "I'm deeply saddened to learn of the sudden demise of Sushma Swaraj, the former External Affairs Minister of India. On behalf of the Government and people of Japan, I would like to express my deepest condolences to the bereaved family and people of India."
Chinese Ambassador to India, Sun Weidong took to Twitter to share, "Sad to learn about the passing away of Smt #SushmaSwaraj, former Minister of External Affairs of India. Appreciate her contributions to #China-#India relations. Express my deep condolences to her family."
The late and revered leader was cremated with full state honours in Delhi's Lodhi Crematorium on Wednesday. Along with the who's who of Indian political spectrum, the funeral also saw attendance from former Prime Minister of Tibet, Lobsang Sangay.
