Four more positive Coronavirus cases have been detected in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai region thereby taking the total tally in the state to 37, ANI has reported.

It was reported yesterday (16 March) that the positive cases in Pune have climbed to 16. Cases have also been reported from other parts of the state like Nagpur, Yavatmal, Thane and Ahmednagar.
The state has already announced the closure of malls till 31 March and school examinations till class 9 have also been postponed. The state health administration has also urged people to follow social distancing and personal hygiene.
The state has also invoked the Epidemics Disease Act, 1897, which gives special powers to the government to place people in quarantine, prevent mass gatherings and to set up testing and treatment facilities in private hospitals.
