While the AAP is all set to storm back into power in Delhi, the vote share paints an interesting picture.
As per vote-share present on the Election Commission website, the AAP is clocking a share of 51.07 per cent while the BJP is holding a share of 41.30 per cent. The Congress’ vote share stands at 4.43 per cent.
As per Journalist Bharti Jain, these figures mean that the BJP’s vote share is surging by 8.52 percentage points. The AAP on the other hand is seeing a tepid fall of 3.52 percentage points.
The Congress though is seen to be encountering the biggest blow as its vote share is down by 5.27 percentage points, to mark its historic lowest in Delhi.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
