The Union Minister of State (MoS) for Culture, Prahlad Patel will be inaugurating an e-portal and a YouTube channel of the Rashtriya Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) to promote Indian culture in New Delhi, reports Asian News International (ANI).
The initiative is intended to facilitate the exploration and understanding of India's history and culture, and is set to go live at an event called 'Digital Bharat - Digital Sanskriti' at the CCRT headquarters.
A press release from the CCRT said that the developments are aimed at taking India to a newer “digital pinnacle” and to promote its culture. It should be noted that the CCRT has also started to publish books to help propagate and widen the reach of India's lesser known places and the rural and semi-urban cultural aspects attached to them.
A book in this context, titled 'Dewas Ki Sanskritik Parampara' written by Jeevan Singh Thakur which has been published by the CCRT will also be launched by the Union Minister at the event.
