After the Supreme Court's announcement that it will deliver the verdict in the Ayodhya title dispute case on Saturday (9 November), the administration in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya said that heavy deployment of security has made in the temple town, particularly the areas having mixed populations, and barricades set up on district borders.
Ayodhya SSP Ashish Tiwari said: "We have activated all the barriers on all our inter-district borders, two hundred police mobiles (teams) have been activated in Ayodhya and movement of forces have been started for deploying at different places in Ayodhya. More forces have been deployed at the areas having mixed populations of both communities."
All the roads leading to the disputed Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi disputed site have been sealed and the area covered with extra forces, he added.
The SSP added that they will, however, try to maintain normalcy so that all essential commodities, medicines and medical treatment can be in the reach of people.
