Both the corridors saw 55O trips per day with the Miyapur to LB Nagar line seeing a frequency of 21 trains, with one train every 3.15 minutes during peak hours and 8 minutes during non-peak hours while Nagole – Ameerpet line saw one train every 6:30 minutes respectively.

The statement was announced by the HMR Managing Director, NVS Reddy on Tuesday after a meeting to ascertain the future of the metro and deal with growing demands of passengers.

The most bustling corridor in the city, 16-km Ameerpet – LB Nagar line commenced operations last month along one of the busiest corridors in the city. The Hyderabad Metro has become India’s second largest metro rail network after Delhi, with the 46-km length operational.
