India and Qatar have sealed five pacts, including in the field of visas, cyberspace and investments, as the countries’ prime ministers yesterday pledged to tackle money laundering and terror financing.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Qatar counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, during their meeting in New Delhi, also resolved to combat terrorism and radicalisation.

The visiting Qatari leader sought India’s participation in infrastructure and investment projects in the light of Qatar hosting the FIFA World Cup in 2022.
