During the summit, the countries will share common concerns and perspective relating to various challenges.

He added that the summit essentially envisages bringing together countries of the global south and sharing their perspectives, on a common platform, across a whole range of issues.
Kwatra said that this initiative is inspired by PM Narendra Modi's vision of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas'.
It is also underpinned by India's philosophy of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam', he added.
'Global South' countries refers to the nations of the world which are regarded as having a relatively low level of economic and industrial development as compared to the developed economies.
The term is often used to identify regions within Latin America, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
