Jaipur Central Jail: Pakistani Prisoner Convicted In Terror-Case Beaten To Death After Quarrel With Inmates

A Pakistani prisoner Shakoorullah was allegedly beaten to death by inmates in Jaipur Central Jail on 20 February (Wednesday). The deceased prisoner hailing from Sialkot was serving a life sentence after his conviction in a terror-related case in Jaipur in 2017.

Senior prison, intelligence and jail officers rushed to the jail after getting the information, and the matter is currently under investigation. The deceased reportedly received severe injuries in his head caused by a blunt object after a quarrel with other inmates. as reported by The Hindu.

According to the Jail administration, Shakoorullah’s body would be taken to Sawai Man Singh Government Hospital for a post-mortem.
