Jio ‘Waltz’ Into ‘Disneyland’, Comes Away With Deal That Will Showcase Wide Range Of Iconic Content

Reliance Jio has signed a content deal with Disney India, the Television Post reports. A dedicated Disney brand section will be available on the video on demand (VoD) application, Jio Cinema’s homepage, which will include movies, animation series and shorts.
Jio users will soon have access to various stories from Disney Classics, Pixar animations, Marvel and Star Wars franchise movies as well as many international and local content. The app will also offer kids and teens a distinct collection of films and series like Marvel kids’ animation shows.
Further, the users can experience the newest feature of unique character customisation as they can select their favourite Marvel, Disney, Star Wars or Pixar characters like Mickey Mouse, Spiderman, Lightening McQueen among others and browse an entire range of collection available on the selected character.
Users will be able to re-watch their memorable characters from heartwarming stories of Disney like the Jungle Book, Lion King, and various other princess Disney tales like Cinderella, Snow White and the seven dwarfs, Sleeping Beauty and more.
Fans of various international and popular hits of fun, music and adventure will be able to select from Hannah Montana to blockbuster movies like Descendants on Jio Cinema. Further, original series like Mickey Mouse and the Roadster Racers, Duck Tales will be available along with local content like Gaju Bhai and Simple Samosa for young children.
Superhero buffs will also be able to enjoy a collection of Marvel’s mightiest comic superheroes in ‘reel’ life with movies of Captain America, Iron Man and Thor alongside a wide range of animated series like Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers Assemble and more.
Various animation movies like Toy Story, Wall-E will be available for Indian audiences along with a collection of films from the Star Wars Franchise.
