Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit Kerala on 24 April. He is expected to address a rally in Kochi and take part in a conference titled 'YUVAM' which is being organised by a group called Vibrant Youth For Modifying Kerala (VYMK).
Anil Antony, the son of former Defence Minister AK Antony, who recently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after leaving the Congress, is expected to share the stage with PM Modi.
The visit which was earlier scheduled for 25 April has been preponed by a day, because of the Assembly election campaign in Karnataka.
Last month, President Droupadi Murmu visited the state and participated in multiple programmes at Kochi, Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram.

Introducing ElectionsHQ + 50 Ground Reports Project
The 2024 elections might seem easy to guess, but there are some important questions that shouldn't be missed.
Do freebies still sway voters? Do people prioritise infrastructure when voting? How will Punjab vote?
The answers to these questions provide great insights into where we, as a country, are headed in the years to come.
Swarajya is starting a project with an aim to do 50 solid ground stories and a smart commentary service on WhatsApp, a one-of-a-kind. We'd love your support during this election season.
